Equipment introduction:
This air separation unit mainly produces gas oxygen, gas nitrogen and some liquid products for standby. The upper column and lower column have a certain working pressure, and the product oxygen and nitrogen have a certain pressure too, which can be directly transmitted to user's subsequent process equipment through pipelines. The oxygen purity can be designed as any purity below 99.7%O2 according to user’s technical requirements. Gas nitrogen can be 0.8MPa G abstracted from lower column, which is mainly used for the protective gas of user’s subsequent process equipment or raw material nitrogen for production. The system surplus coldness of the air separation plant can be converted into 200L/hr liquid oxygen or liquid nitrogen product output. The liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen could be stored in liquid oxygen storage tank and liquid nitrogen storage tank as emergency standby gas source. It could be converted into gaseous oxygen and nitrogen for short-term emergency gas supply through gasifier when necessary.
The air separation system is mainly composed of self-cleaning air filter, centrifugal air compressor, air precooler, air purifier (13X APG molecular sieve), air separation cold box (sieve tray rectification column, aluminum plate fin heat exchanger BAHX, etc.), turbine expander (gas bearing), PLC automatic control system, liquid oxygen storage tank, liquid nitrogen storage tank, etc.
This air separation process is suitable for on-site gas supply equipment in glass plant, metallurgical plant, and chemical plant that need oxygen and nitrogen as combustion-supporting gas, protection gas or process production material gas.
